A fantastic cook book

Our eldest son found it for me in a gift shop and as it was printed near where I grew up he got it for me. It started a new tradition of him buying me a Red Tractor calendar for Birthday or Xmas so I win all year.

Country girl in Europe

I'm living in Europe these days, but I'm still a country girl at heart. I'm currently trying out one of the familiar recipes and the warmth of the Australian outback is now filling my Dutch kitchen. Thanks for collecting these recipes and your personal reflections, it's a joy to read through them all!

Illustrations and little quotes make this recipe book an enjoyable read! Love it. Bought some more copies for presents for friends. They will love it too.

My new fashioned cookbook
By: Donna Haigh on 14 June 2020Love the country style, up to date recipes, along with the beautiful quotes on every page. The whole book reminds me of my Gran, back on her farm, cooking us up the delicious recipes. The poems and cute drawings made me emotional, thinking back to those farm days. I love it so much, bought both my girls one and introduced this site to all my friends.
